to CoreTime Interactive Automated Timesheet Processing
CoreTime is a quick and easy on-line timesheet system with several
benefits for you and your employees:
Convenience
Employees have around the clock access.
We send the information to you once a week for approval.
Time Saving
Employees don’t need to mail or drop off timecards.
You don’t need to collect and sign every single timecard.
Greater Accuracy
CoreTime automatically tallies the hours for each employee
timecard and manager timesheet.
How
it works

Employees enter their weekly hours by 9:00 p.m. every Sunday,
either by telephone or on-line via the Internet.

CoreTime tallies the hours and gives the employee a confirmation
number for their records.

Managers are sent an e-mail each Monday with a password linking
them to the on-line weekly timesheet(s).

Managers may then approve or reject any or all employee hours
and submit the timesheet(s).

Managers will receive a confirmation number verifying the information
has been sent. This page may be printed for a hard copy record.

HRLink's payroll department receives the information and issues
the appropriate checks.
What
if an employee’s hours are incorrect?
Reject the hours for that employee and approve and submit the rest
of the employees on the timesheet. HRLink will follow up with you
and the employee to resolve the matter.
What if I’m out of the office or on vacation?
If you know ahead of time that you will be out of the office, you
can notify HRLink and make arrangements for the information to be
e-mailed to another manager for approval.
Regardless of the reason, if you do not respond to the CoreTime
e-mail on Monday by 9:00 p.m., the system will automatically notify
HRLink and a HRLink representative will call your office on Tuesday
to follow-up.
Security
Features

The CoreTime and HRLink databases are backed-up daily.

Managers are assigned a new password weekly.

Work order numbers are checked against HRLink's database to prevent
discrepancies.

The CoreTime system will log off if there hasn't been activity
for 15 minutes.
Important
Information
Department
Changes
If an employee changes departments, please contact HRLink immediately
so a new work order can be issued to the employee and their hours
are credited to the appropriate manager’s timesheet.
Paid Holidays
Employees should not input hours on their timecards for paid holidays
unless they actually worked the day of the holiday. HRLink automatically
verifies eligibility and issues holiday pay when appropriate.
Approval Cutoff Time
Timesheets must be approved by 9:00 p.m. each Monday. If you
miss this cutoff time, a HRLink representative will follow up on Tuesday
to make other arrangements.
